Tracy Lauren Marrow alias Ice-T is a Rappeur (pioneer of the Pimp Rap) and a Acteur American born the February 16th 1958 with Newark (New Jersey, E. - U.).

Biography

History

At 10 years, his/her parents die in an car accident, it is then collected by family residing at Los Angeles in California. It practices the Breakdance within the group West Coast Locksmiths. During its adolescence passed to the college of Crenshaw in the district of Central South, it starts to be interested in the Rap and also to join the businesses local gangs. It is at this time there that inspired by Iceberg Slim (a gangster author of books and poem) it gives itself the nickname of Ice-T.

Ice-T publishes in 1991 its fourth album, Original Gangster , which will undoubtedly mark the apogee of its career. In addition to the success of the title New Jack Hustler , another piece, Body Count , will be the release of a new musical orientation for Ice-T.

The success of this title of metal, recorded with musicians whom he knows well of his secondary school will open the road to him towards a parallel project, with this group which he will baptize Body Count.

This group leaves its first opus besides this same year, with the album COP Killer (“killer of cop”), which will involve a real scandal because of the virulent words towards the American police force. The police force had thus the order to seize any album comprising the hit " COP Killer " and to burn these thousands of albums. Ice-T will have to break its contract with the Warner to bring out a censured version of this album in 1992, with the name of Body Count .

In 1993, they takes part in B.O. film Judgment Night in duet with the group of Trash metal Slayer.

As from this moment there, Ice-T will multiply the cinematographic appearances, while keeping a foot in the music, since it will record Home invasion in 1993; VI - Return off the Real in 1996 and The Seventh Deadly Sin in 1999. These albums will be on the other hand only one success mitigated compared to Original Ganster .

Ice-T also continues its career with the group Body Count, since the latter publish Born Dead in 1994 and Last days: Violent one Dislocated in 1997.

In 2006, it leaves with Body Count a fourth album, Murder 4 Hire , nine years after the exit of the third opus, and reconsiders the front of the scene rap with an album solo left in the tread: Gangsta Rap .

Cinematographic
