Iblis
Lampaul-Ploudalmézeau ( Breton Lambaol-Gwitalmeze in ) is a common department of the Finistere, in the area Brittany, in France.

History
- At the 16th century, Lampaul-Ploudalmézeau belonged to the seneschalsy of Brest and Saint-Renan.

The church dedicated to Saint pol. Aurélien, partly rebuilt in 1856, holds its originality of its bell-tower-porch going back to 1622 (registered with the inventory of the historic buildings) which is one of most beautiful of Brittany. Inside, one finds some statues remarkable like the Virgin Mary crushing a démone eating the apple (XVI ième), Saint pol. Aurélien, Saint Eloi or Holy Beard. Annexed to the church, the fountain dedicated to Saint pol. Aurélien, supplements the unit.
The commune also has on its territory much of cross and Breton martyrdoms of which some have more than thousand years.
It has a great sand beach white from where one can admire many windsurfers. One can practice also there Kite Surf and the sand yacht.

- the first school Diwan was created in Lampaul-Ploudalmezeau in 1977.
