Iberian eagle

The Iberian Aigle ( Aquila adalberti ) is a Rapace diurnal pertaining to the family of the Accipitridae. As its name indicates it, it is present only in Spain. He was a long time regarded as a subspecies of the imperial Aigle.

Etymology

The Latin name of the species commemorates Heinrich Wilhelm Adalbert (1811-1873), prince de Prusse, soldier and German explorer.
