Iberavia

Iberavia is a disappeared Spanish aeronautical company.

Iberavia was founded in 1946 with Madrid to produce propellers and instruments of aeronautical navigation. In 1948 was made up a small research department directed by Juan del Campo Aguilera, which drew initially sailplanes used in particular by the Ejercito del Aire, like the sailplane Iberavia IP-2. Meeting a need for the Spanish aviation, who sought a successor with the CASA 1.131 for the flying schools, Iberavia made steal on July 16th, 1951 a two-seater to three-wheeled train, the Iberavia I-11. Iberavia was repurchased in 1953 by AISA.
