The ibadism (Arab: rear Al-ibaḍīya RTL الاباضية) is the the oldest school in Islam, it was less founded than 50 years after the death of the prophet Mahomet.
The ibadism was driven out by other Moslem currents for its political thoughts: according to the ibadites, the commander of the believers should not necessarily be of the line of Mahomet, nor of a certain race or color.
The name of the school derives from the name: Abdullah ibn-Ibad At-Tamimi. However, the disciples of this school assert that Jabir ibn Zaid Al-Azdi, originating in Oman, was their true founder. He was among the best pupils of Aïcha, the woman of the prophet and Abdullah Ibn Abbas, the cousin of the prophet (and one of the large experts of the Islamic principles after him). The school ibadite represents the Islamic sight of the life: principles, work, equality…
The ibadites, during all their history, developed Islamic sciences and those of the Arab language.
In the plan of the doctrines, at the ibadites, Islam is a whole made up of three basic elements: the dogma Al Akida , word Al rhetoric or verbal testimony, Al have badly' , work, work, the action, the practice. One is indissociable other .
God Known as: " The Bedouins said: “We have the faith”. He answers: “You do not have the faith yet. Said rather: We simply subjected ourselves, because the faith did not penetrate yet in your hearts. And if you obey Allah and Its messenger, It will not do anything to you to lose your works”. Allah is Clément and Miséricordieux. (sourate El houdjourate)
For example, Abou Taleb, the uncle of the prophet, believed in Mahomet, but he did not say the chahada and did not follow the prophet in his works. He cannot thus be regarded as Moslem. He is still people, the White Fathers, for example, the Red Cross, who make good deeds but do not have the belief. These either are not Moslem. Islam, at the ibadites, is a belief in the heart and the gestures, a verbal testimony calling with the belief and good works, a practice of the good. Thus, the ibadites consider that which forsakes good works and the true practice of the Islamic religion, is not to regard as a true Moslem (Arab: muʾmin, rear RTL مؤمن). It is treated on ground like Moslem, but with glance out of God, he is similar to that which does not believe in Islam, which does not make its prayer, that which is devoted to alcohol, that which kills or flies… But since he said the chahada, he does not belong, with the beings on ground, to judge it. Thus, it is considered a Moslem (one subjected). The ibadites thus treat it like one as of theirs like everyone, while trying to guide it towards the true practice. Thus a professor of a British university gave a good definition of the ibadism: “ It is the Islam practiced in the life ”.
From the political point of view, in Islam, according to the ibadites, the capacity is Community and excludes any hegemonism. That in particular which consists in saying that the capacity must belong to the line of the Prophet. The capacity in Islam is the gathering of all Oumma (the nation). The Moslems indicate those able to direct them, without references of race, color, rite or line.
In Islam, it is the democracy which allows emergence . The ibadites, in their relationship with the capacity, respect the order and obedience, even if the capacity is unjust, provided that it does not order the not-belief, nor prohibition to request not more than the obligation to drink wine, because under these conditions, they would not obey. If it is unjust in another manner, the ibadites are limited to the councils and the prevention, without making bloody revolution if this one must lead to chaos or a civil war. However, in the ibadism, there were two “White” revolutions without bloodshed, to change the mode. The first in Tripoli, to relieve the governor representing the Abbasids. The second, it is the legal and peaceful designation of Abderrahmane Ibn Rostom. The ibadism is against any form of violence, even if it is necessary for that to accept a little injustice.
