Iain MacMillan

Iain MacMillan (October 20th 1938May 8th 2006) Photographe English celebrates to have immortalisé the Beatles beam Abbey Road for the album éponyme (and become one of the most famous small pockets of album in the world).

MacMillan took the photograph of the album Abbey Road the August 8th 1969 towards 10:00 of the morning. It is with John Lennon that returns the choice of McMillan. Perched on a scale, it took some stereotypes during the time which was assigned to him, namely 10 minutes only. The choice of the stereotype for the small pocket returned to the Beatles.

MacMillan worked again that on two occasions with old the Beatles: initially with John Lennon and Yoko Ono for the small pocket of individual the Happy Xmas (War Is Over) . Then it immortalisa the parody of famous small pocket for the album Paul is Live of Paul McCartney. On this photograph, one sees Mac Cartney crossing the street with a dog.

MacMillan died in Scotland of the continuations of a Cancer.
