Comment
The first version was not published at the request of Brigitte Bardot which was married, at the time, with the German industrialist Gunter Sachs. The second version was interpreted by the type-setter and Jane Birkin which was then at the beginning of their connection.
The song owes in particular its celebrity with her refrain:
