I bouquine
History
Magazine with stories of the group Bayard Presses conceived in 1984 for the schoolboys, after the success of I like to read , in complement of the general practitioner Okapi , I bouquine is addressed from now on to the adolescent public (10-15 years), the group having created the magazine DLire for the readers pre-teenagers. The illustrator Martin Matje, deceased in 2004, was the director artistique.I bouquine propose each month:
- a new novel signed by more the contemporary great authors (detective novel, history of love, humor, novel of adventure…)
- a “chief of work” of the literature adapted in data base accompanied by a presentation of its author - Alexandre Dumas, Charles Dickens, Jules Verne
- a cultural magazine: topicality of the books, films, music
- of the cartoons
- a serial: Marion and Charles of Fanny Jolly.
Leading successes
It is for this review that Daniel Pennac wrote his Kamo . Patrick Modiano published there its Catherine Certitude , and Patrick Süskind the History Mr Sommer . Anna Gavalda or Marie Desplechin is regular collaborators.To adapt as a cartoon traditional literature, the review calls upon various talents of which Frank Gall ( Pinocchio , Kid in mare , Rikki-Tiki-Tavi and Ali-Baba and the 40 robbers ) in the years 1980.
Some titles of the collection, republished in paperback, are found in the list of the books selected by the Minister of education main road: the king of the jazz of Alain Gerber, the cats of Marie-Helene Delval and François Roca, the prince of appearances of Catherine Zarcate and Elene Usdin, bitter Dreams of Maryse Condé and Bruno Pilorget…
The magazine decrees each year, according to the votes of its readers, a Prix Tom-tom with the living room of the book youth of Montreuil.
