ITII Provence-Alp-Coast of Azure is one of 22 regional ITII. Creee in 1994 this formation is accessible to the Bac+2 level (BTS, HAD, Deug). The flow of pupils - engineers for year 2005/2006 is of 110 new students in engineering and 20 professionals in continuing education.It ensures the formation:
- of engineer ITII speciality Genius Mechanics-Maintenance, delivered by ENSAM.
- of engineer ITII Electronic speciality Engineering and Industrial data processing delivered by ENSM SE.
- of engineer ITII Electronic speciality Engineering and Industrial data processing delivered by Polytech' Nice Sophia (e.g. ESINSA).
- of engineer ITII Electronic speciality Engineering and Industrial data processing delivered by ISEN
Admission
Formation by the training
The admission with the ITII Provence-Alp-Coast of Azure is carried out on file and contest.For the mechanical die , production and maintenance the tests write relate to:

Course of the studies
Alternation school, undertaken is carried out according to various modes according to the phase of studies. One can summarize the modes of alternations by:- Phase of integration: Weekly alternation, 1 week in academic formation then one week in company;
- academic Phase of formation: Two days in end of the week (Friday and Saturday) like several weeks blocked in the year at the training center;
- Phase of industrial anchoring: Two days in end of the week at the training center.
Phase of integration : For the trainees in Formation by training, the purpose of the phase of integration of 222 hours a time volume is to give the bases necessary and to standardize knowledge of the apprentices for a good progress of the formation. Moreover, it is the period when they discover the industrial world and particularly their company.
academic Formation :
The formation includes/understands three great parts:
- formation with the trade of the engineer: framing, methods and methodologies (376 H);
- the joint base of scientific and technical training (594 H);
- a field of deepening: the option (200 H).
Training in company The Master of training, tallies of the company, accompanies the apprentice-Engineer and takes part in the follow-up and the evaluation of the formation. The apprentice-engineer is charged to study and lead projects specific to the company. He familiarizes himself thus with the technical sides, economic and human of the trade of engineer.
Project of end of studies All the assets of the apprentice engineer will be put into practice at the time of an industrial project which will give place to the drafting of a report as well as defense in front of a jury made up of professionals of industry and professors belonging to the academic body. The projects must highlight the level of reflection and implication of the student in engineering in his company, like its exact role and its responsibilities during the project.
The subject must be sufficiently ambitious so that learning it can develop the aspects to with it: organisational, technical, financial and relational. It is desirable that it requires at least 500 work hours personnel in the company except drafting of the report.
Nevertheless, the subject must be realistic and in connection with what one can reasonably entrust to a student in engineering. The project must be correctly fixed in time compared to the report giving place to defense.
With the support of the tutor in company: this project must be concretely established in the company and allow a setting in situation of engineer.
Phase of industrial anchoring : This last one 6 months duration phase (240 hours of formation) is the occasion for the apprentices to capitalize the 5 preceding six-month periods assets. A presence more constant than at the time of the preceding phases in company allows the realization of the personal project in company.
