IRIB or Islamic Republic off Iran Broadcasting , in French Radio-television of the Islamic Republic of Iran سازمانصداوسيمایجمهوریاسلامیايران|Sāzmān-e Sedā goes Sima-ye Jomhūrī-ye Eslāmī-ye Īrān Iran ienne controlling the radio is the organization and the Télévision.
Place de l'IRIB in the Iranian constitution
According to article 175 of the Constitution of Iran, the private remote transmission is prohibited. Before the Iranian Revolution, the IRIB was known under the name of Iranian National Radio-Télévision , or RTNI .The constitution further specifies the director from the organization is directly selected by the supreme guide for 5 years, and two representatives of the legal administration, the president and the Parliament control the organization. The current director is Ezzatollah Zarghami. Among the former directors can be quoted Ali Larijani and Mohammad Hashemi.
The IRIB is the body of relay of the remarks of the government of the Islamic Republic since the revolution of 1979. The constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran proclaims: The freedom of expression and of publication of the ideas of the IRIB must be on line with the laws Islamic and the national interests.
