IPodLinux

iPodLinux is a Distribution Linux based on µCLinux made to turn on the apparatuses IPod of Apple. In addition to the Core Linux, iPodLinux proposes as a principal component Podzilla , an application which provides:

a Interface resembling that of the iPod (personnalisable: Podzilla, Floydzilla…)
reading of vidéos with its
support of the formats AAC, MP3 and OGG
of many plays, including TuxChess, Chopper, StepMania (Dance Dance Revolution clone)
the recording via the audio catch with a quality quite higher than that of the Firmware of Apple

The Firmware Apple does not disappear, by means of a Bootloader it is possible to select between Apple and Linux

To use these systems cancels the guarantee of the ipod
