Its contributors even created a classification of the Disney stories of before end of the year 1960 which did not comprise any. This classification is a reference used by the editors Disney themselves. Since the end of the year 1960, Disney forces its editors to give a reference number for each one of their stories.

The contributors are voluntary amateurs of cartoon. The project began around the Dutchman Harry Fluks and from the Disney Comics Mailing List (DCML).

Significance

The significance of the name Inducks is given on the site:
The Word Inducks has combination off Index and Ducks. Brix Lichtenberg cam up with this name ace has replacement for the (more boring) name Disney Database comics. He intended it to Be year abbreviation (I.N.D.U.C.K.S.) like the ranks in the Junior Woodchuck stories, goal we haven' T figured out yet what it is supposed to mean…
Translation: “The word Inducks is a combination of index and ducks ( ducks ). Brix Luchtenberg proposed this name to replace the name (enough tedious) basic of data of the Disney cartoons. He would have liked that becomes initials (I.N.D.U.C.K.S.) like the ranks in the stories of the Castors Juniors, but we did not find significance yet on what he could mean. ”

The word Inducks thus means currently “the index of ducks”.
