Wire of Holy Caedwalla, Saint Ina was born in 665, and died in 730 with Rome.
Oldest son of a family of six children, Eleine (667-684), Hadolf (668-676), Inigilis, Frederika (671-708), and Rupert, it sees dying the two juniors, and must announce their death with his parents. When Frederika is done religious, it must fight against his two brothers once king. It decides to devote its life to Jesus.
He becomes king of Wessex in 688, at the time of the abdication of his father, and reigns until in 726, date on which he leaves for Rome, leaving according to Bède the capacity to young people. In Rome, it meets the pope Gregoire II which entrusts to him the title of bishop of Somerton. It returns then to foot of Rome, and dies following an attack of brigand on the way of the return.
