History of the chain

In June 2007, the project of numeric channel of Jean-Luc Azoulay, IDF1 , was selected by the SCUMS to occupy one of the four channels of regional TNT on the Île-de-France. IDF1 should emit its first images in December 2007. The producer Jean-Luc Azoulay joined Marc Tessier (former owner of France Televisions) and Michele Cotta to assemble IDF1. IDF1 is published by the Groupe JLA, which counts among the principal French producers

IDF1 will be a local chain intended for the family and youth. She will propose in particular fiction (series, telefilms, animations…) and of the clean productions.

September 24th 2007, Jean-Luc Azoulay announced on Europe 1 that Dorothée and the major part of its team (Jacky, ARIANE, Patrick Simpson-Jones) will make their great return on IDF1 as of November.
