IC 4499
In Astronomy, IC 4499 is the name of a globular Amas of our Galaxie, the Milky Way, in the Constellation of the Bird of paradise. It is the astronomical object number 4499 in the astronomical Catalog ( Index Catalogs , IC, in English). Because of its very low Variation, this globular cluster is very close to the celestial Pôle southern, and is not thus visible strictly of the southern hemisphere. It is located a little at the north of the limit with the constellation of the Octant and close to that of the Caméléon. One needs a Télescope of 200 mm for good to see it.
