Iğdır (province)

The province of Iğdır is one of the 81 Province S (in Turkish: it , in the singular, and it in the plural) of the Turkey.

Its Turkish prefecture (: valiliği ) is in the éponyme city Iğdır.

Its surface is of 3.593 km ².

With the census of 2000, the province was populated approximately 168.634 inhabitants, that is to say a Population density of approximately 46 hab. /km ².
