Hypoparathyroïdie

A hypoparathyroïdie is a pathological state of with the insufficiency of Parathormone (PTH). This Hormone is produced by the four Glande S Parathyroïde S generally located behind the gland Thyroïde at the level of the neck. This hormone controls the metabolism of the Calcium. The primary deficiency in parathormone leads to a Hypocalcémie (drops blood rate of calcium). The hypoparathyroïdie does not have a clean symptom, others that those of the hypocalcemy.

The hypoparathyroïdie can also be due to the inefficiency of the parathormone on bone and renal tissues.
