Built initially with a capacity of 11.500 places, it is increased because it belongs to the eight stages which will accommodate the Euro 2008. Its capacity passes in 30.000 places, on the model of the Parc Saint-Jacob.
Its construction is accompanied by the installation of a hotel, a business district and a shopping mall.
It is theresident one of the team of Football of SK Austria Kärnten.
