HyperFile

HyperFile is a basic Management system of data exploited by the software WinDev, WebDev and WinDev Mobile.

The Hyper engine Slips by

This basic engine of data, appeared at the end of the Years 1980 with Highscreen, and now integrated in WinDev, WebDev and Mobile WinDev, exists in several modes.

A characteristic of this database is to be spreadable free in all its versions. All the versions are compatible between them: data on mobile are compatible with data client/server for example.

In 2006, Hyper File was presented to the public of use of a table of 10 billion recordings.

Hyper Slips by single-user/network, also called " Classic"

This mode is mainly directed file (ISAM), and automatically manages the competitor accesses to the data in room (multi-authorities applications) or network.

It makes it possible to join the files in the repertory of the application or a file of the machine for a single-user use (even wandering if data and the program are stored on a removable support), or to install the files on a waiter.

The file server can be a waiter Windows or compatible Samba (*nix), which makes it possible to install the files on a Linux waiter.

Hyper Spins client/server

The access to the data is carried out here via a software " serveur". This server software exists for Windows and Linux.

This operating process makes it possible to accelerate the performances of access to the data in network (compared to HF network), by limiting the volume of the data which circulate on the network. This mode allows a remote access protected offering good performances. Hyper File Client/server allows the execution of stored procedures.

Version 12 of Hyper File allows the safeguard of the data " hot " , data storage Unicode, the triggers waiter.

The data files Classic are compatible with the data files Client/Serveur. The programming of access is compatible.
