Hymie Weiss

Earl Wajciechowski, known as Hymie Weiss (1898 - 1926). American gangster of Chicago of the years 1920, Al Capone adversary. The bloody episodes which marked out its life are emblematic one period of deliquescence of the authority in the american company, when the rule of law was declining and the triumphing crime.

The districts north of Chicago

It is in company of its accomplice and friend of childhood Dean O' Banion that Hymie Weiss makes his first weapons: burglings, flights of cars, attacks of jewelleries. The two young people strike also illustrate themselves in the war of the newspapers while using of violent and expeditious methods. When O' Banion is found with the direction of the frightening band of North Siders of Chicago, it takes his friend Weiss for right-hand man. The gang draws its immense incomes from the alcohol smuggling. The arm avenger of O' Banion

In 1925, O' Banion is assassinated. Hymie Weiss takes his place with the head of North Siders and swears to avenge it.
