Hygin gromatic the , in Latin Hyginus Gromaticus, was, as its cognomen indicates it, a Roman land-surveyor, credit under the reign of Trajan. One allots a work to him on the right of the demarcations.

A treaty on the Roman military camps ( Of munitionibus castrorum ) was formerly allotted to him, but is probably later date, about the 3rd century and now is allotted to the Pseudo-Hygin.
