Hydroxyzine

The hydroxyzine is a derivative Pipérazine of which the principal property and to be an antagonist of the H1 receivers of the Histamine.

Used into therapeutic human like Antihistamine for the treatment in particular of the acute urticarias allergic, the hydroxyzine is also equipped with properties Antiémétique S, sedative and Anxiolytique S which makes it useful for the treatment of the minor demonstrations of the Anxiété like for the premedication for the general anesthesias. It is marketed in many countries in the form of dichlorhydrate of hydroxyzine, under the name of Atarax ®.
