Hydra AC

Hydra AC (HAC) is a club of Football Algérie N formerly called the Athletic Sporting Groupe of Hydra (GSAH). It is the historical club of the district of Algiers of Hydra, predecessor of the Paradou AC which plays in the Régionale league II B of Algiers.

The choice of the new name was inspired with Ali Benfaddah, former player of the Havre AC in France, by its old club. The name change took place under the direction of Hadj Hamou in the Années 1960.

History

The HAC is a club of district, on the heights of Algiers recognized for the quality of sound school of Football. The large team of HAC directed by Ali Benfaddah marked the the second division and was distinguished in Coupe from Algeria from football during the Années 1970 was inter alia made up of Rezkane, Omar If Chaïb, Belabed, Hafsi, Mahi, Belkaim, Fernando etc

The junior team of the same period gave several large players like Larbi Allik, Saïd Allik, Hassen Boudjemâa, Mahmoud Pipo, Sehli alias Foufou, Mahmoud Gendouz, etc

The HAC which was classified 2nd behind RCK missed a chance to reach in the first division into 197? by losing on green carpet its match against the RCK which it had gained with Hydra on the score from 1 to 0.

The most beautiful service of HAC in the court of large of the Football Algérie N goes up in 1995 at the time of the cut of Algeria, where it reached the stage of the semi-final eliminated following a defeat 2 to 0 vis-a-vis the future winner of the edition CRB. Au préalable, it had eliminated the senior from the clubs Algérie NS MCA.
