Hyde Park is one of largest the Parc S of the center of London, in England, like one of the eight royal parks of London. It is also one of the district of Westminster to London. It is divided into two by the Serpentine Lake . Hyde Park and the Jardin S of Kensington ( Kensington Gardens ) are on the same ground, so much so that it is considered sometimes that this last fact part of Hyde Park, but they are technically separated by the lake Serpentine. Hyde Park extends on a Surface from 1,4 km ² and Kensington Gardens from 1,1 km ², giving an entire surface of 2,5 km ². Hyde Park is also famous because of its famous Speakers' Corner.
Hyde Park was the original site of the Crystal De luxe hotel, drawn by Joseph Paxton for the Grande Exposure of 1851. The July 20th 1982 two bends S posed by the WILL GO caused the Mort of seven horses and eight members of the Cavalerie of reserve and the Royal Green Jackets . It was also the place of famous Concert S of Rock with, for example, Jethro Tull (1968), The Rolling Stones (1969), Pink Floyd (1970), Roy Harper (1971), Queen (1976) and the Red Hot Chili Peppers (2004), as well as the Live 8 in 2005. The Photo S of the Beatles for the album Beatles for Sale were taken in Hyde Park with the Automne 1964.
The grids closing the passages, works of Bramah, are in Fer, with Bronze, and are decorated with an ornament of Greek Chèvrefeuille .
Hyde Park is also very known for its Speakers' Corner. This last, located in the north-eastern part of the park, is a space where each and everyone is authorized to speak freely, in front of the assistance of the moment.
