Hyaena (Album)

This album of Siouxsie and the Banshees, by-product by Mike Hedges, leaves in June 1984.

Hyaena is the only album studio of the group with as guitarist/type-setter, the talented Robert Smith of The Cure, the other members being of course Siouxsie, Steve Severin and Budgie.

One seldom quotes this album among the best of Siouxsie and the Banshees and yet this disc abounds in beautiful songs: one resists with difficulty the charm of arrangements and the ultra-licked melodies of " Take Me Back" and of individual the " Dazzle" and " Swimming horses".

For the anecdote, the rhythmic one played piano on Swimming horses , was re-used by Robert Smith on the different title Six ways , of the album The head one the door of the Cure.
