Hvis Lyset Tar Os

Hvis Lyset Tar Os (If the Light Takes to Us in French) is the third album of Burzum. It was recorded in September 1992 (one month after the EP Aske), but only in May 1994 was published. It is the album prefers of Varg and is regarded as being its best album in particular for the song “Det som in gang VAr”.

The original edition in vinyl is limited to 2000 numbered discs (in vinyl coloured). Back one Black also left an limited edition to 2000 specimens in vinyl black.

The album was republished in 2005 at Black Records (CD and vinyl).

On the small pocket is reproduced a drawing of the artist Theodor Kittelsen named Fattigmannen (" The indigent").
