Hussein of Jordan
Hussein bin Talal (November 14th 1935 - February 7th 1999) (in Arab Language: حسينبنطلال) was King de Jordanie August 11th 1952 with the February 7th 1999.
Hussein was born on November 14th, 1935 in Amman, it is the third sovereign hachémite to have reigned on Jordan. Raised in Amman, it is then sent in Alexandria, then in England with the college of Harrow and the military academy of Sandhurst. It is assembled on the throne the August 11th 1952, after the abdication of his father, King Talal. It was old only sixteen years to the abdication of his father, and in waiting of his majority a council of regency is instituted. It is his/her maternal uncle, Chérif Nasser Ben Djemil who assumes the chairmanship of this council. His death, his/her son Abdallah succeeds to him.
King Hussein of Jordan was radio ham and it often held very warm welcome has radio hams of passage in his country. Its code was JY1 or JY1A.
Family
King Hussein of Jordan had four women who gave him five wire:- the King Abdallah II, wire of his second wife, the British Toni Gardiner , become the Mouna princess, currently directs the country,
- the Prince Ali , his half-brother, 29 years old, married with the journalist Algerian of CNN, Rym Brahimi,
- the Prince Hamzah , wire of king Hussein and her fourth and last woman, l´Américaine d´origine Lebanon ease LISA Halabi, renamed Nour, married with the princess Nour Hamza,
- the Prince Fayçal ,
- and the Prince Hashim
The sister of Ali, the Princess Haya , one year its elder, married with the Crown prince to Dubai, Mohammed Ben Rached Al-Maktoum. Ali and Haya are the children of late king Hussein of Jordan and d´ Alia Toukan , Palestinian Jordan d´origine killed in an accident d´hélicoptère in February 1977.
