Hussein Oueini
Hussein Oueini is a Lebanese politician.
Born in 1900 deceased in 1971, it starts young person a career of business man who carries out it in Palestine, in Egypt, with the Hijaz then in Saudi Arabia. It returns to Beirut in 1937 and founds that which will be the first commercial bank of the Lebanon: the Bank of Lebanon and Overseas.
He is elected appointed sunnite of Beirut of 1947 with 1951 and enters to the government to various recoveries, as Minister for Finance and of the Post office under the presidency of Béchara el-Khoury in the governments of Riyadh be-Solh, as minister for the Plan, the Foreign affairs and Justice, in the governments of Rachid Karamé under Fouad Chehab and as minister for the Economy, the Foreign affairs, Defense and Justice, in the cabinet of Abdallah Al-Yafi, under the presidency of Charles Hélou.
He was also Prime Minister for the Lebanon in 1951, during the mandate of Béchara el-Khoury, then between 1964 and 1965, under Charles Hélou.
