Hussards de Baschi de Cayla
The Hussards de Baschi de Cayla is a body of hussards made up during the French revolution by the Armée with the emigrants.
Creation and various denominations
- July 1794: The body east creates by Etienne de Baschi, Count of Cayla and is composed of 300 men, mainly of the Alsacien S and serves in the Austrian Armée.
- October 1797: The body, which does not count any more that 118 men, passes in the Russian Armée.
- April 1798: The body of the Hussards de Baschi of Cayla is laid off and joined together with the Dragons of Enghien.
