Huseyin shah

Huseyin 1st (also called Hussein or Hussein Sultan) (1668 - 1726) is the ninth and the large last Séfévide. It reigned of 1694 with 1722.

During the last year of its reign, Afghan revolted against his cousin, governor of Kabul. After killhaving killed it, Afghan made the seat of Esfahan. Hussein was not informed in advance of the intentions of Afghan to make the head office of Esfahan. After the fall of Esfahan, it had to crown the Master of the Afghans, Mahmoud Ghilzai, whereas his/her son, Tahmasp II continued to fight to recover his throne. Hussein was killed several years afterwards by Mahmoud.
