Huppy
Huppy is a common French, located in the department of the Somme and the area Picardy.
Geography
Huppy is a very pretty small rural district located at a dozen km in the south of Abbeville. Located in edge of old the Trunk road 28, it is now well served by the has 28 with two exchangers in the vicinity.
To 104 m of altitude it is on the calcareous plate of the green Vimeu, with the rich and well sprinkled grounds. The dominant winds are of west in south-west. The wind mills are established today on these sites of old windmills.
One can also reach it of North by Abbeville, in the South by Oisemont and of Is in the West of Érondelle to Grébault-Mesnil by the " RD 13".

Places and monuments
The castle was the headquarters of the colonel Charles de Gaulle at the time of the battle of the Sum (from May 28th, 1940 to May 31st, 1940). The memory of the general is preserved and honoured by a bust located close to the gate, on the Place of the village. A memorial rises at the western entry of the village.
