Hungarian agitations of 2006

The Hungarian agitations of 2006 are series of demonstrations which were caused by the revelation of the confidential speech of Hungarian the Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány in which he admits “having lied” to the Hungarians to gain the elections of 2006. The peaceful demonstrators were joined by bands of breakers who began various confusions. With Budapest, they occupied and plundered the station of Hungarian public television, vandalisèrent cars and windows of stores and faced the police force during the first and the second night of the events.

The peaceful protests and demonstrations missed significant political support, and seemed quasi-spontaneous, although groups of extreme right-hand side try to draw their pin from the play while trying to gain in influence and protesting their slogans.

Sound recording

The September 17th 2006, the radio Hungarian woman transmitted a recording which had been collected at the time of a debate behind closed doors during a congress of the socialist members of the Hungarian Parliament (MSZP) which was held on May 26th, 2006 with Balatonőszöd, during which Hungarian the Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány held of the sometimes cynical remarks:

We do not have any more the choice. Not because we have fair. Not a little, but completely. No European country made a connery as colossal as while letting to us spin the public deficits”. Obviously, we lied throughout these the last eighteen months. It was perfectly clear that what we say was not true. We have done anything for four years, nothing. You cannot quote only one significant measurement of which we can be to trust, with share the fact that we left ourselves the shit at the end by gaining the elections”.

The Prime Minister confirmed the authenticity of the recording and put his remarks on line on his Blog, but he declared in Le Monde which it was about “a dramatic monolog with much of passion, unilaterality and exaggeration” and which “it is a question of making move a team. It is badly to include/understand this speech to think that it is a question of a consent of having concretely lied”.

Demonstrations

September 17th, of the people gathered before the Parliament while asking the Prime Minister to resign. The number of demonstrators reached 2000 people about midnight.
