Humorum pond

Mare Humorum ( sea of moods , in Latin) is a lunar Mare. The basin of impact in which it is placed has a diameter 825 kilometers in diameter. In age, it is located at an intermediate point between the basins Imbrium and Nectaris, is roughly 3,9 billion years. The basin of Humorum is filled with Basalte thick, on a 3 km depth in its center. At the Northern edge of Humorum Pond the large Gassendi crater is, which was a time under consideration like place of landing for Apollo 17.
