Humiliation
The humiliation is a degradation of the Image of oneself, inflicted by Corporal punishment or not, for example in disqualifying the person with the eyes of the others.

- Desire of Revenge.
- Rage destroying, Urban violences, rural Violences.
Recently, a total network of the academicians and experts started has to study the subject of humiliation (like refusal and violation of dignity), see Human Dignity and Humiliation Studies, http://www.humiliationstudies.org.
Other positions were recently formulated, according to which the current use of the word " humiliation" would be a drift compared to its original direction. This current of thought tends to regard humiliation as a phenomenon " normal" , that it would be appropriate of qualifer and whose only excess would be pernicious (c.f., for example: this site)
