Humanitas Prize

Humanitas Prize is a reward for the writing of a Film or Série TV considered as promoting the human Dignité, its significance and the Liberté.

It was born in the the Seventies from the father Ellwood Kieser, but is generally not associated with a work specifically " religieuse". In 1975 Ray Bradbury, the father " Bud" , and Robert Abernathy announces the first gaining on the Today show. The price initially started like rewards for works televisual.

Now, the Humanitas Prize are separate in various categories: Film ( Feature Film ), Telefilm 90 minutes ( Premium Time TV 90 minute), 60 minute old Telefilm ( Premium Time TV 60 minute), series TV 30 minutes ( Premium Time TV 30 minute), emission for Child S ( Children' S Live Action ), Cartoon for children ( Children' S Animation ), and film of Sundance ( Sundance Feature Film ), and ( The Angell Comedy Fellowship ) which could result in the association of the comedies of Angell. This association, " camaraderie" was created in the honor of died of David Angell and Lynn Angell, killed in flight 11 during the attacks of September 11th, 2001.

Several programs gained three times the price: At the White House , the Years very favorite , '' I' L Fly Away '' in two different categories, Family, Generation advertizing and Captain Furillo. Life with Louie was the only program in the cartoon category for children to gain three times.
