Humanitarian Aid

the humanitarian aid is a form of solidarity or Charité, generally intended for the populations poor, disaster victims or taken in a war, which can:

  • to answer various needs (hunger, health, rebuilding after a disaster, education, protection of the children, installation of communication and water supply networks…). One often distinguishes on this subject the emergency Aide from the permanent assistance.
  • to take various forms (gifts of money, sending of goods and equipment of first need, personnel sending making of the interventions on the spot).

  • and to come from various sources:

    • the association S (laymen or denominational, even ideological) and the humane ONG (known as also caritative). They are financed either on equities (contributions of the members, gifts, various operations…), that is to say by subsidies of the municipalities, governments, international organizations or any other organization which wishes to support the action of these ONG or to entrust certain tasks to him. ONG generally function with personnel Bénévole, but they can employ of the remunerated personnel. In the case of ONG international, whose missions proceed abroad, the expatriates all are almost remunerated; if they must implement a program financed by an international institution, like the European Union or one of the agencies of UNO, their remuneration is dealt with by these organizations.

    • public International organizations, in particular those depend on UNO, the European Union, etc
    • companies.
