Human Steps

Human Steps , founded in 1981 by the Choreographer Edouard Lock, is a Québécois troop of Contemporary dance established with Montreal.

From 1981 to 1998, the dancer Louise Lecavalier allowed this troop to establish her international reputation. The characteristic of this company is the use of the advanced technique adapted to a very physical and athletic contemporary dance, which creates the interesting shift. The troop in particular collaborated with David Bowie in 1988 and Frank Zappa in 1992.

In 2006, it is always directed by its founder.
