Human Geography
The human geography is the space study of the human activities on the surface of the sphere, therefore the study of the ecumene, i.e. areas inhabited by the man.
This branch of the Géographie is thus by definition a Social science.
Its fields are very varied and call as well with the Démographie, the Sociologie, the economy, the Histoire, the Droit or upon the Politique.
Like all the geographical phenomena, the facts studied by the human geography are charted.
The Carte S thus produced constitute one of the materials on which the geographer for his analysis is pressed, just as the Statistiques, the Législation, the public opinion polls.
