Huitzilihuitl
Huitzilihuitl , whose name means “feather of Colibri” in Nahuatl, is the son of Acamapichtli and begins its reign with dead of his/her father in 1396 (it estt then sixteen years old) with the head of what will become later the Aztec empire. By his marriage with the girl of the king Tezozomochtli, tépanèque king of Azcapotzalco, it reinforces assujetissement Aztèques but thus moderate the amount of the tributes poured by the latter. He makes build an aqueduct for the water supply of Tenochtitlan from the city of Chapultepec . He develops the education of his people as well as the trade of the products of first need. Warlike king, it took part in the war against Texcoco. He dies in 1417.
