Hugues Ier of Cyprus
Hugues Ier of Lusignan (1195 † 1218), king de Chypre (1205 -1218), wire of Amaury II of Lusignan and Echive d' Ibelin.
It was only ten years old with died of his father and Gautier of Montbeliard was regent of the kingdom. It began its personal reign with its majority (1210) and was vindicatory and hard, though serious and applied. He died the January 10th 1218 at 23 years during a voyage to Tripoli.
He had married in 1210 Alix of Champagne (1195 † 1246) and had:
- Marie de Lusignan († 1252), married in 1233 with the count Gauthier IV of Brienne (1200 † 1244)
- Isabelle de Lusignan († 1264), married in 1233 with Henri of Poitiers-Antioche († 1276)
- Henri Ier de Lusignan (1217 † 1253), king de Chypre
