Hugues Duroy de Chaumaray

Hugues Duroy de Chaumaray born the December 20th 1763 with VAr-on-Roseix in Corrèze and dead the November 23rd 1841 with Lachenaud is a captain resulting from an old middle-class family anoblie under Louis XIV, being said more or less related by his/her mother to the admiral d' Orvilliers.

It ordered the Jellyfish at the time of its shipwreck immortalized by Theodore Géricault.
