Hugh Verity
Hugh Beresford Verity born the April 6th 1918 with the Jamaica and deceased the November 14th 2001 was a Officier and Aviateur of the Royal Air Force.
At the beginning of the second world war, it belonged to a squadron of recognition. As of 1941, it joined the service of special operations of RAF. In 1943, it took the command of the flotilla of Lysanders of Squadron 161. For this reason, it accomplished many night flights to deposit and recover the resistant ones, agents of the secret service Special Operations Executive and personalities on clandestine grounds in France. Among its passengers, appeared Jean Moulin and François Mitterrand.
