Hugh Kenner
Hugh Kenner was born in Peterborough, in the Ontario, with the the United States on January 7th 1923. Professor and critical literary Canadian, it writes the poetry of Ezra Pound (1951) following his meeting with this last, in a hospital in 1948. Become friendly, Ezra Pound inspires the book to him: The Pink in the Steel Dust . In 1950, he becomes Doctor are in literature, at the University of Yale, thanks to James Joyce: Critical in Progress , which will become in 1956, Dublin' S Joyce . He teaches in various prestigious universities: the University of California, in Santa Barbara; the University Johns Hopkins (of 1973 with 1990), and the University of Georgia (of 1990 with 1999). He dies on November 23rd 2003.
