Hugh Cornwell
Singer of the group The Stranglers until 1991, leaving room thereafter to Paul Roberts. He is also the guitarist of the group. The songs of Stranglers are composed by him and the bass player Jean-Jacques Burnel. It was known for the words misogynists of certain songs of Stranglers.
Beginning of the year 80, it is stopped. It held various narcotics such of heroin. Slacken some time later, it joined the group.
In 1991, after the round celebrating the exit of the Ten album, it leaves the group. He wants to pass to another thing, in particular of the cinema, and his career solo. There always existed between him and JJ Burnel a certain competition concerning the place of the leader of the group.
