Hubo

Hubo (or KHR-3) is a South Korean robot humanoïde. It was developed by KAIST (Korean Advanced Institute off Science and Technology).

Description

Its technological level is on this level, much less advanced than that of ASIMO or Qrio, than it intends to compete with. Nevertheless, its development cost much less than these the last two robots. Indeed, only 1 million dollars were invested for Hubo, against 300 million for the development of Asimo.


Later versions

In its new versions, HUBO improved in particular on the level of its locomotion.
  • HUBO FX-1

Albert HUBO

Albert HUBO is a version improved of robot HUBO. This one profits from the technical improvements of HUBO FX-1 to which the face of Albert Einstein was added. Its head comprises 31 servo-motors enabling him to raise various expressions of face.
