Hubert Monteilhet is a French writer born the July 10th 1928 with Paris.
Biography
It was born in Paris in a family from magistrates. It makes its secondary studies at the Jésuites and after higher learning with the Sorbonne, he will be professor of history to the Lycée Carnot of Tunis during ten years. He begins his literary career by writing detective novels. Its first work, Mantes nuns receives the Grand Prix of the police literature, and it continues with the Return of Ashes , the share of the angels … It also wrote science fiction, like the tails of Kallinaos .
It then launches out in the historical novel in 1982 with last fires , a novel on the Inquisition, then Neropolis on Rome of the emperor Néron.
He is also gastronomical chronicler for the newspaper Southern West.
Its sensitivity is rather directed on the right. Its first writings are tinted of a visceral Anticléricalisme. This anticlericalism concentrates more on the records of the religious hierarchy and against the council of the Vatican II that on the bases of the religion to which it seems attached. Thus later, it converts with the traditional Catholic church of Mgr Lefebvre, which it tells in what I believe, and why .
