Hubert Charbonneau

Hubert Charbonneau is a Démographe and Professor Québécois born in 1936.

It holds a baccalaureat (1956), and a M.A. (1958) in Géographie of the Université of Montreal. He also studied with the Institut of demography of the Université of Paris (IDUP) which decrees to him a diploma (1960). He then undertakes with the National institute of demographic studies (INED) of research with Louis Henry, which leads it to the doctorate decreed by the Université of Paris (1969).

He is then professor and researcher especially in historical demography with the Université of Montreal as of 1962, he is now professor emeritus.
