Hu Hanxie
Hu Hanxie (in Chinese 呼韓邪) was a Chanyu Xiongnu of -58 with -31. Its capacity was disputed and other chiefs proclaimed chanyu , in particular his/her brother Zhizhi. In -54 it had to give up its capital following its defeat vis-a-vis Zhizhi. It then decided to seek the support of the emperor Chinese Yuandi while proposing to him to become its vassal. He then visited several times the emperor to pay homage to him (in -51, -49 and -33). At the time of his last voyage, the emperor granted to him like marries Wang Zhaojun. He died in -31.
