History

Before film

The Man colonized the planet which it called Sirus 6B to collect an extremely energy ore: the Berynium . Only, the scientists detached to analyze the ore detected that the perfect source of energy was not it really and that it actually released from the radioactive emanations mortals for the minors. The latter, conscious of the gravity of the risks incurred to extract the Berynium gathered behind the scientists to form an entity - Alliance - able to fight against the Nouveau economic block ( NBE ) which wished to continue the extraction of the Berynium - on which their economic capacity rested and which threatened to use the force.

Their opposition degenerated into a thermonuclear war carried out by the NBE and which devastated the surface of Sirius 6B (and which destroyed all those which had not been buried). In counter-attack, the scientists of Alliance created a new weapon: the Screamers or Hurleurs . This weapon is also called Mobile Épée and is in fact an autonomous machine able to destroy any form of life which it tackles by means of its strident howl (caused by the circular saws it has) which décontenance the human ones before it kills them. This weapon their made it possible “to gain the war”…

The Hurleurs were parameterized so as to attack only the soldiers of NBE , and not the members of Alliance … But one day, the scientists left the basements brutally where they were grounds, leaving their creations in plan… and the war did not cease, even if it is in a more or less consensual phase (if somebody comes towards the other camp, he is cut down).

History of film

All starts in 2078 with the arrival of a soldier (insulated) of NBE towards one of the general headquarters/bunkers of Alliance. It is, of course, tiny room to nothing by the Hurleurs before it succeeds in transmitting its message. However, the message is recovered by a colonel of the bunker which decides to honor the message and to go to sign peace with group NBE.

It leaves with a young marksman which has just arrived (in a brutal way) on Sirius 6B . Both will discover with their expenses that the Hurleurs are not any more what they were and which them protection - against the Hurleurs - is not effective any more and their voyage is metamorphosed well quickly in survival in a world which became to them hostile since the victory of Alliance.

Remarks

This film of Science-fiction is discussed enough and was carried out only with one weak budget. Nevertheless, the tension and the bizarrery of the world imagined by Philip K. Dick are very well returned and make of this film impossible to circumvent for the fans of this author.
