Howell Cobb

Howell Cobb (September 7th 1815October 9th 1868) was an American politician . He was with four resumptions member of the Congrès which he chaired of the December 22nd 1849 the March 4th 1851, then member of the cabinet of President James Buchanan, as a Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasury ( United States Secretary off the Treasury ). At the time of the American Civil War, it was with the service of the Georgia and of the States confederated of America, it chaired the provisional Congress of the confederated States of the February 4th 1861 the February 17th 1862.
